Series 1102: Mississippi Landmark Grant Applications. 2002.
Dept. of Archives and History (RG 31). Historic Preservation (SG 4).
Applications for grant funds available under the Mississippi Landmark Grant Program, which is administered by the Department of Archives and History and provides money for the acquisition, operation, preservation and restoration of historic properties. The program was created by the Legislature in 1999 as House Bill No. 1082 (Chapter 486, General Laws of Mississippi 1999). With the exception of projects involving acquisition, the funds are only available for properties which already hold the official designation of Mississippi Landmark. Included with the applications are such materials as correspondence, financial statements, budget reports, project descriptions, resumes of project staff, and photographs. Arrangement is by project number. Please see the following pages for a detailed box contents list.
