Auditor (RG 29)
Audit reports for county and municipal public school districts. Since the 1979 passage of a law which allowed the use of public accounting firms to conduct selected audits, many reports are the work of local accounting firms who file a copy with the Auditor. Where a range of dates is given (i.e., 1979-1982), holdings include all school years in the range. Arrangement from 1929 through 1978 is alphabetical by school or school district name, from 1979 through 1985 alphabetical by county with municipalities grouped with their parent county; from 1986 through 1987 alphabetical separately by county and by municipality; and from 1988 through latest available alphabetical by school district name.
