Receipt warrants for land purchases and redemptions. Various forms were used by different counties over the years. However, each form will have a description of the land location (section, township, and range), name of purchaser or redeemer, and amount in taxes accrued. The materials are arranged chronologically, and then by county. There is also four cubic feet of correspondence sent mainly from local tax collectors concerning land transactions, and two cubic feet of recapitulations.
