Financial reports of utility companies operating in Mississippi. The bulk of the records consists of annual reports of utilities. Annual municipal utility system financial statements, audit reports, and/or comprehensive financial reports for certain municipalities are also included. The rest of the series consists of year–end electric power association financial and statistical reports. Reports are arranged chronologically by year, and within year alphabetically by name of utility company, power association, or municipality.
Once the Public Utilities Staff was authorized (effective September 1, 1990, by Public Law Chapter 530, Section 25, 1990), this function was transferred to it.
