Office notebook of the first 37 issues of the BAWI Bulletin: a typewritten newsletter published by the A & I Board with the stated purpose of

keeping Mississippians informed as to industrial progress within and

without the state. Ideas and plans, prospective new industries and other

current information will be a part of BAWI Bulletins in the hope that

such facts may be of benefit to the people of the state.

These early issues contain brief summaries of A & I Board activities including its in-state and national advertising and publicity campaigns, Board meetings and actions, and ongoing program updates.

This bulletin evolved into the formal publication Mississippi Magic: the BAWI Bulletin.
