      This series consists primarily of supporting documents for the accreditation self-study for the State Historical Museum (SHM or OCM) [Old Capitol Museum] and the accreditation self-study for the Manship House Museum (MHM) performed by the American Association of Museums (AAM). Documentation includes such items as the museum mission statement, its long-range plan, an organizational chart, principal vitae of staff members, 1975-1984 Manship collection photographs, MHM and OCM exhibit information/photographs, unlabeled CD’s (may be degraded), some correspondence, and pertinent sections of the museum's collection policy. Box #4791 contains an "Index of Attachments" that gives a relatively complete list of the items found in the State Historical Museum accreditation self-study. Box #7289 contains an "Index of Attachments" that gives a relatively complete list of the items found in the Manship House Museum accreditation self-study. Arrangement is solely by box.
