Reference files of the Northeast Regional Office of the Dept. of Economic and Community Development used by staff in researching and advising clients on business opportunities and practices, rules and regulations to be considered, and pertinent demographical information. Files contain many federal information publications and manuals, including many published by the Small Business Administration, as for example, Starting and Managing a Small Dry Cleaning Business. There are also lists of area businesses and schools; statistics for roads, bridges, tourism, and projected growth; and occasional correspondence and memos for particular businesses.
