Office files relating to the involvement of the Agricultural and Industrial Board (A & I Board), Department of Economic Development (DED), and Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) in the planning for and development of the port of Pascagoula. These files contain correspondence, minutes, contracts, and other material. The biggest group of files concern the construction of the Ingalls-Litton Shipyard on the west bank of the Pascagoula River. Arrangement of files is alphabetical and within each file arrangement is generally chronological.
