Series 2157: Pollution Control Revenue Bonds. 1973 – 1997.

Economic & Community Development (RG76).

Files regarding the issuance of bonds to finance installment sale or lease contracts of pollution control and abatement equipment to industrial companies for their use in meeting MS air and water pollution control requirements. Bonds were authorized by the Agriculture and Industrial Board (A & I Board) and later by the Department of Economic & Community Development (DECD). Folders generally contain Board or Department meeting minutes authorizing issuance of bonds, installment sales and lease contracts setting forth terms for payment by companies, descriptions of and miscellaneous correspondence regarding the projects. Files are arranged chronologically by number and include company names. A list of the files follows.
