Two bound statistical registers and a folder with two lists of statistics of Matty Hersee Hospital. The bound registers record adult and newborn in-patient days from August 1972, to June 1978. The registers provide daily and cumulative totals of in-patients from each day of the month, and the statistics are given for each county served and as well as those from out-of.state. The folder contains a list of patients discharged from July 1965, to June 1966. Included in the list is the number of colored and white adults, the total combined, and the percentage for each county and as well as those from out-of-state. The number of colored and white newborns, the combined total, and the percentage for each county and as well as those from out-of-state are also include in the patient discharged list. The folder also includes a list containing the number of patients and the number of days patients stayed in the Medical, Surgical, O.B., and Pediatric wards for each month from April 1968, to March 1969.

Patient records are exempt from the provisions of the Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983, and are restricted from public access [Mississippi Code Annotated (1972), § 41-9-67 & 68]. Access is by permission of patient or by court order [Mississippi Code Annotated (1972), § 41-21-97].
