       Incoming and outgoing correspondence and other papers of Jackson McWhirter Tubb, State Superintendent of Education from 1945 to 1967. Organization of the series reflects some interfiling of subject files with general correspondence files. Tubb’s files on the Mississippi State Textbook Purchasing Board, on which he served, are also included in this series. Arrangement is chronological and alphabetical thereunder.
