Various materials relating to the work of joint legislative committees. The reports consist either of generalized messages (back to the House or Senate) regarding approval or disapproval of proposed legislation (part of the daily proceedings of legislative sessions) or more specifically detailed statements on committee research and findings. Study materials include school survey, preliminary findings, handbooks, and notes. Also included are committee reports, study materials, and the files of the 1946 Joint Arrangements Committee pertaining to the visit of General Jonathan M. Wainwright to Jackson in March 1946.
