      Opinions rendered by the Attorney General regarding the legality of a broad range of issues concerning education at the state and local level in Mississippi. This series essentially consists of two different sets of files: one on microfilm, which roughly dates from 1924-1945, and one original set, which roughly dates from 1933-1959. Both sets of files are alphabetically arranged by topic, but the earlier set on microfilm was arranged much more consistently than the later files, which were very arbitrarily alphabetized. Due to this inconsistency and the date crossover between the two sets of files, researchers should check both sets of files (microfilm and original papers) under all conceivable headings. A partial list of topics may be seen below, but this is intended only as a general guide, and is not a complete list of all topics addressed in these files.
