      Administrative and educational guidelines used by the Department of Education, plus a budget suggestion for a Department study. The items in this series are as follows:

• Guidelines, Elementary and Secondary Education Act – Title I, Fiscal Administration.
  This 18-page mimeographed document is undated but was definitely written between 1945 and 1968.
• Materials and Equipment for High School Science Courses.
  An undated 21-page mimeographed document primarily consisting of a checklist of scientific equipment considered necessary for accredited high school science courses.
• A Suggested List of Books for Mississippi High School Libraries, Fall 1955 Supplement.
  A 16-page mimeographed document intended for use by high school library supervisors. It contains suggestions for book selection, suggestions for ordering, and a descriptive list of recommended books.
• Suggested Budget of the Study in the Field of Negro Education in Mississippi”
  One typed page containing a $3,000 budget outline for this project. This item is undated and it is not known if any other documents related to this study are in existence.
