Railroad Commission (RG 124).
A small group of maps, each entitled Railroad Commissioners’ Map of Mississippi, which depict the railroad routes through Mississippi, and usually list the total mileage for each railroad as well. The maps vary in size but are generally either approximately 17” x 21” or 22” x 30”; most are in color. The maps for 1929 and 1936 have a road map of Mississippi on their reverse sides. Some maps list additional information, such as various state officials including the Railroad Commissioners for each district.
