Slides, prints, negatives and contact sheets maintained by the Tourism Division of the Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development (now the Mississippi Development Authority). The materials in this series were created by MDECD, the Mississippi Arts Commission, and the Mississippi Film Commission. They were intended to be used as promotional material for the state of Mississippi, probably as photographs in tourist guides and brochures. There are also a few slide presentations included in this series. The items are grouped by topic (many of the topics overlap).
