Series 2608: Economic Development Advisor’s Files. 1988-1989.
Governor’s Office (RG 27). Administration of Raymond Edwin Mabus.

Files of Paul Douglas “P. D.” Fyke, special assistant for economic development to Governor Ray Mabus. Most of the files are arranged alphabetically by subject, though there is a small amount of general correspondence which is arranged chronologically. The files contain letters, memoranda, travel itineraries, brochures, newspaper and magazine clippings, and other items which document Fyke’s efforts in promoting trade and attracting and retaining industry. Particularly well-documented is Governor Mabus’ trade mission to the Far East in the Fall of 1989.
