      Certification of authority files for health management organizations (HMOs) to operate in Mississippi. Records chiefly consist of binders prepared by the applying HMO containing their certificates of incorporation, bylaws, financial statements, care plans, and lists of participating physicians, as well as correspondence and annual reports. General administrative files contain lists of HMOs operating in Mississippi, correspondence and memoranda, including correspondence on public records requests, legislation and Attorney General’s opinions pertaining to HMOs, contracts and agreements, and industry newsletters. The bulk of the records date from 1995-1997. Records are arranged alphabetically by HMO; general administrative files can be found in box 30535.
