Files related to meetings of the State Board of Human Services. The board exists to provide policy direction to the Department of Human Services, and is composed of seven members appointed by the governor. Administrative files contain filing notices of new or updated department administrative procedures and a board operating manual. Correspondence is related mostly to board meetings and appointments. Minutes support files contain supporting documentation for monthly board meetings; some files also contain agendas and minutes. Meeting transcripts are computer-assisted, notarized transcriptions of monthly board meetings, although not all months are available for the date range indicated (for example, there is only one file from 1989). Files are arranged chronologically within each subject group.
