Printed birth record notebooks kept by Hinds County midwife, Mary White. There are thirteen different notebooks, ranging from the years 1946-1979. Each notebook was issued by the MS State Board of Health, and contains the following information: place of birth, date of birth, names of parents/child, parents birthplace/occupation/how long lived in community, etc.
