      This series consists primarily of documentation filed by staff members from MDAH’s Historic Preservation division for historical properties and historical sections of cities damaged during Hurricane Katrina. The series is made up of: a structural assessment inventory for the city of Bay St. Louis, Departmental Damage Assessment Forms, ATC-45 Detailed Evaluation Safety Assessment Forms, Damage Map Packets, and Parcel Map Books. The damage assessment forms list (if applicable): addresses, names of buildings, damage to specific areas, occasional architectural schematic sketches made by assessor of damaged property, contractor assessments and recommendations, photographs of the property and damage (only photocopies; no originals), and recommendations for repairs. These damage assessment forms also make note of the National Register Inventory numbers for each property if applicable. Arrangement of this series is primarily alphabetical by city and thereunder by year. The addresses are also primarily alphabetically organized.
      Please note that this series may undergo changes once Electronic files of similar information are processed. Given the information pre Katrina (2004), this series may be renamed or reorganized in the future.
