      This series consists of the State of Mississippi historic community’s efforts to establish a “Friends of the Mansion” program in the state. Headed by staff of the Governor’s Mansion, most of note Anne D. Czarnieki (former curator), chains of communication were formed with various other states about their Mansion programs and helpful tips to establish one in the state of Mississippi. Included in this series is correspondence, transaction records by the Governor’s Mansion Committee (currently intermingled in correspondence), photographs, postcards, out-of-state Mansion brochures and booklets, and a telephone interview. Arrangement is primarily by topic and thereunder chronological.
