      This series consists of records of social events such as teas, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and other events held at the Governor’s Mansion during the administration of William Waller as Governor of the State of Mississippi from 1972 to 1976. Each event file typically contains such materials as invitations, seating charts, receipts, planning notes, menus, photographs, and guest lists. Included is also loan information in regards to some of these events being held at the Governor’s Mansion. Arrangement is chronological. At this time, only files from 1975 to 1976 are included in this series. More may be added over time.
