      This series consists of records of social events such as teas, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and other events held at the Governor’s Mansion during the administration of Charles Clifton Finch as Governor of the State of Mississippi from 1976 to 1980. Each event file typically contains such materials as invitations, seating charts, receipts, planning notes, menus, photographs, and guest lists. Included is also loan information in regards to some of these events being held at the Governor’s Mansion. Arrangement is chronological. At this time, only files from 1976 to 1979 are included in this series, and that info is only in regards to loans. More may be added over time.
