Receipt warrants for the Chickasaw School Land Fund. The fund came from the sale of public lands given by the national government for the endowment of public schools. The state used the funds and paid interest to the counties in proportion to their area. Two distribution ledgers are also in the collection, with dates ranging from 1884-1911. The materials are arranged chronologically.
