Alphabetical lists of persons separated from the military service prepared by the local county Selective Service boards. These reports replaced the weekly progress reports which were discontinued at the end of October 1945. The reports contain the service person’s name, service number, branch of service, separation or permanent address, race, sex, dates of entry into and separation from service, and type of discharge. Codes used for some of this information are listed at the top of the 1st page of each month’s report form. Reports were discontinued in March 1947 when the local Selective Service boards were closed.
