Collection Summary: Registration of companies' trademark and service mark applications (most of which are expired), correspondence, representative samples, and other supporting documents pertaining to trademarks and service marks in Mississippi and other states. Also included are a few photographs, newsclippings, and tapes (depending on the trademark files), and copies of trademark certificates from other states and supporting correspondence. Organization is by date ranges that include each trademarks’ starting date and expiration date. Files are arranged chronologically and thereunder alphabetically. If the title of the event/company/group is numerical in name, it will be organized after alphabetical. Please note that there may be overlap due to the date ranges, which are based on the years included from each record acquisition.
