Collections Summary:  This series consists of Statements of Economic Interest (SOEI) filed by state officials, whether they are appointed or elected. These statements are financial disclosure forms filed annually by certain elected and appointed officials in state and local government. They are intended to disclose the sources of a public servant’s income so that members of the public know where a public servant’s personal financial interests lie. The statements promotes compliance with the Ethics Commission in government law disclosing potential conflicts of interest. Please note that these statements do not disclose the amount of income a public servant receives. This finding aid is organized by category and then chronologically. Access to 2003-2009 indexes is limited to the Winter Building media reading room computers.
