Maps of 111 Mississippi cities (see attached list), 69 counties, and spreadsheets of compiled statistics. The maps (both city and county) are highlighted with orange for black households and yellow for white households. The color purple has not been identified. The highlighted areas are referred to as interview sectors on the county maps. Each county map has a handwritten legend attached, listing the number of interview sectors identified for that county. The cities with only one map are indicated with (*). They use the same color coding system as the county maps. The first map shows the number of housing units (H.U.) for each city block and the second city map shows the highlighted areas selected for the sample housing unit. The spreadsheets compile statistical information from both the city and county maps and give the totals for black and white households, the number of sample housing units chosen from the city maps, and the number of interview sectors from the county maps.
