A collection of handwritten and typed notes on game animals in Mississippi by Fannye A. Cook. Her notes provide a historical introduction to various game animals in the state as well as sections on food, habitat, diseases, and conservation measures (both existing and proposed). As part of her work as project leader for the commission, Cook also corresponded with local game wardens throughout the state and asked them estimated populations of bear, deer, red fox, gray fox, fox squirrels, cat squirrels, swamp rabbits, cotton-tail rabbits, and opossums within their jurisdiction.
