Collection Summary: These extradition files were are arranged alphabetically by the surname of each subject. These files contain extraditions begun in Governor Allain’s administration that were completed in Governor Mabus’ administration.  Extraditions begun at the end of Governor Mabus’ administration may be contained in the files of Governor Fordice’s administration.

Access Restrictions: Access to this series is limited due to the inclusion of privacy-sensitive material.  For researchers interested in viewing these files, there are two options:  1) a file which contains no restricted information will be made available to the researcher, or 2) a file with redacted information will be made available to the researcher.  In either case, the file(s) will have to be screened by an archivist first, so there will be a waiting period, the length of which will depend upon staff availability and the number of files requested.
