Research files cataloging mammals in Mississippi during the 1930s and early 1940s. The bulk of the collection is summary notes on various species of mammals found throughout the state. The collection also contains: B.A. Bloodworth’s field notebooks on mammals in Harrison and Jones Counties, 1938; an unidentified field notebook on mammals throughout MS, 1938-1940; and Henry Dosie Owens field notes, 1940-1941.
