Collection Summary: These files contain extraditions begun in Governor Mabus’ administration that were completed in Governor Fordice’s administration.  Extraditions begun at the end of Governor Fordice’s administration may be contained in the files of Governor Musgrove’s administration.  Although the basic arrangement of the folders in this series is alphabetical, the original records were kept in several different sets of files, and this arrangement has been retained.

Access Restrictions: Due to the inclusion of Social Security numbers, these records are restricted from public access.  For researchers interested in viewing the records, two types of searches can be done through public order:  1) a search for an individual’s file, from which privacy-sensitive information has been redacted, or 2) a search for unrestricted information in the records.
