Series 193: Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study. 1959-1968. Game and Fish Commission (RG 78)
The Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study (SCWDS) was founded in 1957 as a cooperative to provide wildlife disease expertise, diagnostic capacity, and research infrastructure to state wildlife agencies in the southeastern United States. This series consists of reports, minutes, correspondence, bulletins, and memoranda from members of the SCWDS, including Mississippi. The bulk of the collection is scientific studies and reports sent to various members of the cooperative, and the accompanying correspondence. John H. Phares of the Game & Fish Commission figures prominently in the collection. The items are arranged chronologically by date.
