Registers recording the name, residence, rank, and date of commission of officers of the Mississippi militia. Officers include: major generals and brigadier generals, as well as regimental officers (captains, lieutenants, majors, ensigns, quartermasters, adjutants, and surgeons). Each county had its own regiment. Arrangement is numerical by militia regiment number.
