Collection Summary: These files contain extraditions begun in Governor Musgrove’s administration that were carried over into Governor Barbour’s administration. Extraditions begun at the end of Governor Barbour’s administration may be contained in the files of Governor Bryant’s administration.  There are also retake warrants mixed in with the extraditions. The arrangement of the folders in this series is alphabetical by last name.

Access Restrictions: Due to the inclusion of Social Security numbers, these records are restricted from public access.  For researchers interested in viewing the records, two types of searches can be done through public order: 1) a search for an individual’s file, from which privacy-sensitive information has been redacted, or 2) a search for unrestricted information in the records.
