Subject files on a wide variety of topics which span the entirety of Governor Barbour’s two terms in office. Materials include correspondence, reports, statistics, legislation, and copious notes in Barbour’s own handwriting. Arrangement is generally alphabetical by folder title; however, files pertaining to the recovery from Hurricane Katrina are boxed separately. Certain oversize materials, such as maps and aerial photographs, have been relocated to a separate box as well.
