Series 286: Financial Reports for County Officials. 1953-2006.

Collection Summary: Reports from officials whose salary and agency operating budget are derived from fees collected in the performance of their duties. Such officials could include county circuit clerks, chancery clerks, tax collectors, justice court judges, and constables. Depending on the year, reports in this series are available as original documents, photostatic copies, or on microfilm.

Access Restrictions:  Due to the inclusion of Social Security Numbers and other privacy-sensitive information on, or appended to, many of the reports, all of the microfilm in this series is restricted, as well as some of the boxes. For researchers interested in viewing the reports, there are two options:  1) a report which contains no restricted information will be made available to the researcher, or 2) a copy with redacted information will be made available to the researcher.
