Two scrapbooks created by the Commission on the War Between the States containing clippings from Mississippi newspapers documenting Civil War centennial activities. Included are clippings concerning civic, historical, and professional organizations involved in the commemoration and interpretation of the history of the war between the states, and centennial events such as monument dedications, parades, luncheons, pageants, and parties. Handle with care, some clippings are loose.
