      Correspondence files and subject files documenting the activities of the Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. The correspondence files are typically labeled "Communications," "Communications Data," or "Communications (Informational)," and are arranged chronologically by date of the board meeting at which that correspondence file was addressed by the board members. Such files usually contain, as the first item in the folder, an abstract of the correspondence in that file. These abstracts may be used as an "index" to find particular items of correspondence in the file. Though the bulk of this series consists of correspondence files, there are also a few subject files, arranged alphabetically by topic. These include topics such as complaints against engineers and land surveyors, professional examinations, and budgetary concerns.
