Two manuscripts (typed, carbon copies) of James Robert Peery, Stark Summer: A Novel of Correlated Incidents (New York and London: Harper and Brothers, c1939, pp. iv, 313). One copy contains a few corrections and the other is the printer's copy containing final corrections. Both copies contain 368 pages.
