Official papers and copies of speeches of Mrs. R. Lyon in connection with the work of Jasper County Chapter, No. 1221, of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Heidelberg. Ninety-one pieces are "Certificates of Eligibility for Southern Cross of Honor of United Daughters of the Confederacy" for Confederate veterans of Jasper County. Included in the collection are three typewritten articles, apparently by Mrs. J. A. McFarland, Bay Springs, entitled "Outstanding Points of Interest—Jasper County," "Schools of Yesterday and Today," and "Writers and Musicians of Jasper County."
