Z 0506.000 McCormick (Thomas Rasor) Manuscript

An eight-page typewritten manuscript by Thomas Rasor McCormick of Jasper County telling of his experiences as a private in the War between the States. He enlisted in 1861 in Company H, 27th Mississippi Regiment, was captured at Lookout Mountain in 1863 and taken to the Rock Island, Illinois, prison, from which he escaped and rejoined his regiment.
