Miscellaneous correspondence of Mr. Riley as secretary of the Mississippi Historical Society, principally concerned with the activities of that organization. Included are letters from John Sharp Williams, Alfred H. Stone and James W. Garner. Letters with suggestions for the ornamentation of the capitol are from Helen D. Bell, Mary V. Duval, B. G. Lowrey, R. H. Saunders and William Dunbar Jenkins. A letter from Mahala P. H. Roach includes a sketch of the early history of Woodville.
