Diary (photostat) of James P. Sampson, of White Rock, Hunt County, Texas, covering the period from August 13, 1864. Sampson served as a private in the Thirty-second Regiment of Texas Volunteers, C.S.A. After 1865 he engaged in farming and construction work. The volumes are 13 x 17.5 cm. in size and contain 157 pages.
