Manuscript (typewritten, pp. 46, three copies) entitled "A Brief Autobiography of James D. Wallace, Sr., November, 1948." James D. Wallace, Sr., was born on Feb. 14, 1868, in Carroll County and died in Jackson on June 29, 1949. He was the founder and first president of East Mississippi Junior College, Scooba, and was later president of the Bank of Clinton.
