Z 0669.000 Weston (Henry) and Family Papers

Family letters and miscellaneous correspondence of Henry Weston, A. S. Weston, Horatio S. Weston and Samuel William Weston, sons of Joseph Weston, principally to their brother, Levi W. Weston, of Skowhegan and Bloomfield, Maine. The four Weston brothers emigrated from Maine to the southwest, and most of the letters are from Mississippi, Louisiana, Colorado territory and Kansas territory. Included in the collection are the letters of Samuel William Weston, describing a trip to Brazil. Henry Weston and Horatio Weston settled in Logtown, where they began the H. Weston Lumber Company.

Also included are a typescript of "The Westons and Their Name" and a manuscript copy of an address delivered February 15, 1885, at the funeral of I. S. Weston.
