Z 0728.000 Quinn (Sil J.) Manuscript

Two histories of the Winston Guards, Company A, 13th Mississippi Regiment, by Sil J. Quinn. One, seven pages long, was written on March 20, 1865; the other, undated, is seventeen pages. Quinn, a native of Georgia, enlisted May 13, 1861. He was appointed regimental drum major, October 13, 1861. He was later promoted to captain.
