Microfilm copy of the parish register of Grace Episcopal Church, Canton. The church was organized February 23, 1848, under the direction of the Reverend E. H. Downing. On August 1, 1848 the Reverend Edward Fontaine became the first rector. The register contains a short history of the parish written by Fontaine on April 3, 1849, a list of parishioners, 1848–1868, and lists of baptisms, confirmations, communicants, marriages and deaths.
