Manuscript (typewritten) of reminiscences of her childhood in Jackson, written by Bertha Ricketts Sumner, at the request of her children. Mrs. Sumner's published works appear under the name of Cid Ricketts. Also included is a typescript of recollections of the childhood of Mrs. Sumner's mother, Bertha Burnley Ricketts, and of her aunt, Edwina Burnley, with genealogical information concerning the Burnley and Ricketts families. There are explanatory notes, and excerpts from letters exchanged between Dorothy Lenoir and Mrs. Sumner.
